To be truly happy, you must let go of what it means to be happy or content. - Confucius
Happiness.
Do we measure it through wealth, friends, health, or do we have that invisible body meter that goes *ding ding ding!* when you've reached that certain degree of happiness? The word is extremely overrated. It's at weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Easter, and the list goes even further and further. The only time the word is not uttered is during All Saints day or when someone close to you dies (heaven forbid). Anyway, what bugs me is if people do actually know what they mean when they say the word happy.
Maybe happiness is suppose to be a short term emotion. Maybe its just like contentment. Maybe we're not suppose to feel contentment at all because then, otherwise we're just a bunch of lunatics living without passion, without dreams, without hope, and without something better to look forward to. Maybe when we feel happiness all the time we'd later lose its value.
Oh! The whys and the whats and the maybes of life.
Theo! If you're reading this, stop preaching to me every night! Makes me think in circles haha
